Yes. According to the laws of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), foreign nationals can purchase residential property by following a set of legal procedures. The Veranova team provides full consultancy and support throughout the legal process

How long does it take to complete the title deed transfer?

On average, the title deed transfer process takes between 3 to 6 months, depending on approval timelines. All applications and documentation are closely followed and managed by our team on your behalf.

Can I get support for the apartment I want to rent?

Absolutely. Veranova offers rental and property management services exclusively to investor clients. We can market your unit professionally for long-term leasing or short-term rental (e.g., Airbnb) depending on your preference.

What determines the rental income?

Rental rates are based on factors such as location, unit type, size, and equipment level. In the TRNC market, most rentals are denominated in British Pounds (GBP), offering investors a stable, foreign-currency income stream.

What payments are required during the purchasing process?

In general: • 25% of the contract value is required as a down payment • The remaining balance is payable in installments or based on construction milestones • A 6% title deed transfer fee is applicable at the time of title registration (in accordance with TRNC law)

Does purchasing a property grant me residency or citizenship in TRNC?

Purchasing a home provides advantages when applying for residency, but does not automatically grant citizenship. However, consistent residency and investment activities may contribute positively to future eligibility.
